TUC Cymru Young Worker Academy

TUC Cymru Young Worker Academy is a five-month political education and organising programme for young workers across Wales. Running one weekend a month, it is designed to build confidence, clarity, and collective power among a new generation of trade unionists.

The programme combines political economy, digital organising, anti-far-right strategy, and campaign skills, with a strong emphasis on practical application. Participants will develop the tools to understand the forces shaping their working lives and to organise effectively within their workplaces, unions, and communities.

By the end of the Academy, participants will have built durable networks across Wales, gained a shared political language, and developed the strategic confidence to act as organisers and leaders in the workers’ movement.
